The Band Of Fools

The Band Of Fools

The Band of Fools is formed of six musicians with eclectic musical backgrounds (from jazz to electro to classical to folk), who all met Eastern European music through their roots, their travels and their musical meetings. Whether Gypsy, Klezmer, Balkan or folk, that music has touched them by its depth, its charm and its improvisational form.
Flann

Flann

Flánn [meaning: Irish chieftain, sounds like full-on] perfectly sums up what we do as a band – our repertoire is rooted in the Irish tradition and we play jigs and reels both modern and ancient at a pacy tempo with plenty of groove factor interspersed with a few reflective tunes.
Klezmerized

Klezmerized

Klezmerized repertoire pays homage to the traditional eastern European Jewish music known as klezmer, whilst putting their own Klezmerized! twist on it. The result is a spectrum of fun, lively, danceable music with Middle Eastern, Gypsy and Balkan influences along with slower, soulful tunes and songs full of pathos and yearning.
Joe and Mary

Joe and Mary

Joe & Mary have distilled the heady moonshine of country blues and Americana: their laid-back, insouciant delivery concealing accomplished guitar work. Honeyed vocal and damned fine down-home harmonies.
ShuQroots

ShuQroots

ShuQroots will bring their acoustic folk, roots and traditional Irish music to the Tree Fair.
The Shackleton Trio

The Shackleton Trio

Captivating songwriting and fiery tunes that combine mandolin, fiddle, guitar and banjo with powerful three part harmonies. The unmistakable sound of The Shackleton Trio brings to life the stories of their native East Anglia, and beyond.
The Floozies

The Floozies

Fronted by singer/songwriter Daisy Windsor, The Floozies blend acoustic guitar with saxophones, flute and exquisite harmonies from Paula Appleton, and bodhrán / percussion from Sue Szymanski; to create their unique mesmerising jazzy folk songs.
Svetla

Svetla

A mesmerizing singer and accordion virtuoso, Svetla weaves the enchanting spirit of a bohemian hinterland into every note. Playing songs in several languages, her music transcends borders, creating a rich, magical atmosphere that captivates audiences wherever she performs.
